Why ESI?

Is your organization

- Seeking recognition for its environmental accomplishments?

- Seeking recognition for its certification or interested in developing an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 or an equivalent management system model?

- Interested in having a single point of contact within DENR to assist with pollution prevention, energy conservation and regulatory questions?

- Interested in improving compliance and management of environmental issues?

- Wanting to increase awareness of environmental issues within the organization?

- Interested in serving as a mentor to other organizations wanting to improve environmental performance?

Eligibility

Any site-specific regulated organization or entity, whose activities impact the environment, is eligible to apply to the program. This includes, but is not limited to, manufacturers, businesses, agribusiness, service providers, government agencies, schools and nonprofit agencies. Multi-site or single site applications are accepted at the Partner level.
