To help North Carolina’s recycling industries expand and grow, RBAC has a variety of online tools to assist recycling industry needs.  In addition, RBAC can provide customized assistance to help your business.

Market Research
RBAC conducts research on recycling markets which can be used for analyzing business opportunities in the recycling industry.  If recycling businesses need help finding additional sources of recyclable material, they should contact a staff member to assist.

Financing
A variety of funding opportunities are available to recycling businesses in North Carolina.  Direct financial assistance is available through RBAC’s Recycling Business Development Grants and the N.C. Recycling Tax Credit program.  RBAC also offers information on additional funding sources, such as loans and venture capital, through various partner agencies.

Facility Expansion Assistance
If a business has outgrown its existing location and needs help finding a new building or site, The N.C. Department of Commerce has an on-line source of available sites and buildings to assist with business expansion or relocation.

Equipment
Find sources of new and used recycling equipment.
